The HTC HD7 has integration for Xbox Live gaming   by Dominic Burn

The HTC HD7 has Xbox Live integration allowing you to play console-quality Games on the move through the intuitive interface and large 4.3 inch vivid display screen. It also has customisable tiles for the Start screen which automatically update, as well as HD video recording with its 5 megapixel camera.

The phone has an internal GPS receiver offering location based services such as Facebook Places with the integrated Facebook, as well as directions and maps through Bing Maps, also integrated. Tiles on the Start screen are csutomisable and update live to provide up-to-the-minute information such as new messages and missed calls, or simply to provide a slideshow of your photos on your Start screen.

Multimedia is offered through some of the preloaded Hubs from HTC including the Pictures Hub which shows pictures from the phones built-in camera alongside those on Facebook and Windows Live. Meanwhile, the Music and Videos Hub allows you to listen to the radio, download videos titles, music tracks and more through the power of Zune. Audio is enhanced with the Dolby Mobile and SRS surround sound featured, in addition to the ability to use wireless stereo headsets utilizing the Bluetooth A2DP profile. Additionally, there is a standard 3.5mm audio connection.

The HD7 features an impressive auto focus 5 megapixel camera with the aid of a dual LED flash for poor light conditions, allowing you to instantly snap great moments on your phone, or make a video in 720 pixel (High Definition) resolution. Videos can be played back instantly, and the kickstand on the back of the device allows you to stand the handset up in widescreen to sit back and enjoy your HD videos. Photos can also be shared instantly with SkyDrive on the integrated Facebook or Windows Live.

The handset has a large 4.3 inch touch sensitive display with WVGA (480 by 800 pixels) resolution and pinch-to-zoom capability. The compact device is powered by a 1 GHz processor and 576 megabytes of random access memory to provide support to the WIndows Phone OS 7 operating system which includes a unique Start screen which can be customised to show any desired tiles of live information, including messages, missed calls, photos and more.

The HTC HD7 is a compact and well-designed handset with the impressive addition of a kickstand to allow you to sit back and relax while you watch downloaded videos or video clips you have made with the 5 megapixel camera.
